Physical Therapy
Physical therapists help patients who are injured or ill improve their movement and manage pain through targeted exercises, hands-on care, and patient education. They play a key role in the rehabilitation and prevention of mobility issues related to chronic conditions, injuries, or surgery. Most physical therapists work in private practices, clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, or patients™ homes. Physical therapists must earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and obtain a state license. DPT programs typically take 3 years to complete.
