Holiday Schedule
2025-2026
The University recognizes the following holidays for which staff receive time off with pay:
Labor Day � Monday, September 1
Thanksgiving Break � Wednesday, November 26 through Friday, November 28
Winter Break � Monday, December 22 - Friday, January 2 (Full two weeks*)
MLK Day** � Monday, January 19
Memorial Day � Monday, May 25
Juneteenth � Friday, June 19
Independence Day � Friday, July 3
*With this extended break, University operations are expected to continue, which may require some employees to work certain times over break. This generous amount of time off around the 2025-26 holidays is not a guaranteed benefit.
**Some areas will need to work on MLK Day, but supervisors will work with those employees on a reasonable alternative.
